The human brain is responsible for all behavior and we really do not understand how the brain works. However, behavioral and cognitive functions can be organized into five distinct domains to include: Attention and Concentration, Memory, Visuospatial Skill, Language and Executive Function.

Our brain has a type of maestro or CEO that we believe sits in the front part of the Cortex and helps to execute behavior. The executive system helps to organize, plan, structure, implement, inhibit and abstract.

It is not a region that contributes to general intelligence, but it serves to provide a general choreography of behavior for the entire brain. Personality is thought to reside in the front part of the brain and damage to the executive system can result in depression or manic like symptoms. Many of the psychiatric illnesses are thought to be related to structural or chemical alterations in the frontal lobe. The frontal lobe is the youngest and largest region of the Cortex.

Brain Games

The following games were designed to work on executive functions.

	The Wonder-Juice Machine The Wonder-Juice Machine is a brain game of Executive Functions (Logic) that strengthens your deductive and visual skills. Use your skills of reasoning to direct a variety of colorful fruit and vegetables through a tricky, juice-making contraption, in order to create healthy "Wonder Juice" smoothies for your customers. The puzzles get more challenging as the game progresses, so be sure to put on your thinking cap!
	Sum Snap Sum Snap is a logic and reasoning brain game that blends numbers and color-matching into an addictive, brain-expanding experience. In this game, you "snap" together chains of numbers to add up to a provided Sum. Each Sum changes the number chain to the same color, and any surrounding tiles that form matches of 3 provide Bonus Points. Special bonuses create explosive fun, resulting in colorful chain reactions of matching combos. Numbers haven't been this fun since Sudoku!
	Travel Quest Travel Quest is a brain game that contains a variety of logic and reasoning tasks that are framed within a fast-paced global travel gameshow. You are a contestant in a race around the world, spanning a variety of exotic locations. Cryptic clues must be deciphered in order to reveal important travel details; choosing the right location and method of transportation can make all the difference in a very tight race. See you at the finish line!
