Vivity Labs is a company focused on delivering unique and entertaining yet scientific brain fitness products. Our first product is Fit Brains, an online platform (www.fitbrains.com) featuring fun and engaging games that exercise the five key cognitive areas of the brain: Memory, Concentration, Language, Visual & Spatial Skills, and Executive Functions.
These games offer a variety of activities that help users of all ages maximize and round-out brain skills in an entertaining fashion. The games are tightly integrated with an extensive suite of easy-to-use personalization tools that provide individualized sessions for each user as well as comprehensive brain fitness metrics that measure individual performance and progress. The Fit Brains platform will also integrate a variety of social components to enhance and extend the overall brain fitness experience.
The ACTIVE study, funded by NIH, demonstrated that adults can improve cognitive abilities with proper training. The brain is healthiest when it is active and regularly challenged. With frequent cognitive training, the brain performs optimally and maintains its abilities through our lifespan.
Adults of any age who want to improve brain performance or maximize brain health can benefit from Fit Brains. Our proprietary adaptive difficulty algorithms tailor and adjust the training to the user's skill level.
Fit Brains was developed on a foundation of existing cognitive training research, such as the ACTIVE study, that emerges from the fields of cognitive psychology and neuroscience. Brain plasticity refers to the brain's ability to physically reorganize itself in response to the demands placed upon it.
Fit Brains was designed by Dr. Paul Nussbaum. Dr. Nussbaum is one of the leading brain health doctors in the U.S. He is the recent winner of the 2007 American Society on Aging “Gloria Cavanaugh Award” for excellence in training and education in the field of aging. Fit Brains also has a strong scientific board of advisors.
Fit Brains will be undertaking studies with leading research institutions to further support our work.
Fit Brains is designed to be integrated into a busy lifestyle. You can get your daily workout with a minimum of 10 minutes a day. However, we recommend between 10 and 40 minutes per session for optimal exercise.
